All berries head back up

Blueberries— we are continuing to see small volumes out of the Coffs Coast from growers, but the volumes are small, and they are only being harvested on 14-day rotations. Far North QLD, are continuing to see a little more volume, however we won’t see a jump in volume for 10-14 days (depending on the weather).

Strawberries – volumes dropped significantly last week with several sites in Victoria finishing up for the summer harvest. The warmer nights and days in Southeast QLD will see fruit continue to develop in the first flush, but we expect harvest to continue slowly for the next 4-6 weeks out of QLD. Stanthorpe are expected to have stable conditions this week, which will keep production going out there for short term. Good growing conditions continue in southwest WA.

Raspberries—Northern NSW / Southeast QLD have flat lined week on week and demand has settled down over the last few days. Quality across the board continues to be pretty good. Overcast and rain is forecasted for most of the week in Northern NSW, but we expect volumes to continue to be consistent.

Blackberries—production increased slightly week on week, but the volumes have now dropped behind where we were last year. Due to the small base, fluctuations on Blackberry volume will be seen over the next 4-6 weeks.
