Transition to 170g Blueberry punnets in VIC

The first day of sales for 170g blueberry in Vic was last Wednesday. Whilst it is still very early days (only 3 days of data) our latest data read up until Saturday shows an 20% uplift in the number of shopping baskets that the 170g made it into compared to the same day last week with the 125g pack size. Retail prices have dropped from $4.50 on 125g to $4 for 170g packs, and shoppers are recognising the great value and putting it into their shopping trolley. This is good news given Strawberries have been retailing at $2 a punnet.
